New release of the rare Cabernet Franc release from Paradigm Winery and winemaker Heid Barrett.

Heidi Barrett is well-known as the original winemaker for Screaming Eagle, but Paradigm is her secret sleeper from Oakville in Napa Valley. Known for their Cabernet Sauvignon, Heidi makes a small amount of Cabernet Franc that usualy disappears in a flash. The brilliant new Paradigm Cabernet Franc Napa Valley is gorgeous now, but the patient can also revisit in another 10 years of you can wait that long.

Winemaker Tasting Notes:  The 2021 Paradigm Cabernet Franc is 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark color and aromas of ripe blueberries, tea, and cedar. Flavors match the aromas in this soft mouthfeel and very light tannin structured Cabernet Franc. Fans of this varietal will find it true to type and a good example of what Cabernet Franc can be.
