Very limited Turley Zinfandel.
previous vintage 91 Points Robert Parker: "The Zinfandel Buck Cobb Vineyard from volcanic, granitic soils in Amador County, displays a darker fruit character, a similar dark ruby/purple color, earth, tar and deep, rich berry fruit. It cuts a relatively broad swath across the palate and conceals any sense of heat or its power (15.3% alcohol). Delicious, round, seductive and juicy, this is also a wine to drink over the next 5-6 years."

Rare Cinsault release from Turley Cellars- Very limited!
previous vintage 90 Points Robert Parker: "Bursting from the glass with expressive aromas of orange rind, Griotte cherry, wild strawberry, dried herbs and flower petals, the Cinsault Bechthold Vineyard is medium-bodied, juicy and mouthwatering, with melting tannins, a sweet core of fruit and a fragrant finish. An outlier in the Turley portfolio in that it's fermented with whole clusters and sees a mere six months in old oak, it's a deliciously drinkable red for a remarkably modest tariff."
Winemaker's Notes: "Planted in 1886, this Cinsault vineyard is the oldest of its kind in the country - perhaps even beyond. The vines are gnarly, head-trained and planted on their own roots. The wine is light-bodied, tart, perfumed, and extremely well balanced."
...One of California's great wineries, Larry Turley's Turley Wine Cellars continues to play a critical role in safeguarding the Golden State's viticultural heritage, saving old, head-trained and sometimes own-rooted vineyards from destruction. With fully 29 different bottlings, Zinfandel (often complemented by small amounts of other co-planted varieties, such as Carignan and Grenache) is the standard-bearer here, though Turley also does a fantastic job with other varieties, most obviously Petite Syrah. Given how distinctive each of the single-vineyard bottlings is, it's tempting to suggest (though some will no doubt think it heretical) that Zinfandel might be the variety best adapted to expressing "terroir" in California."
Rare cabernet from Turley
New Cabernet release from Turley! Limited.
New vintage of the Turley Cabernet! The wine has pure, ripe, deeply red Napa Cabernet fruit, rounded out by the savory herbs and garrigue that are the marks of the Estate vineyards. Medium-bodied, with great structure and a solid backbone, which will allow it to age for some time (if you must). However, with its inviting texture and supple, well-integrated tannins, the wine is exceedingly approachable in its youth.
94 Points Antonio Gallloni (Vinous): "The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Turley Estate is the most accessible of the Turley Cabernets. It shows all the raciness that is such a signature of the wines from St. Helena's Northern Corridor, with terrific presence, aromatic lift and balance. Expressive floral and red-toned fruit accents reappear on the finish. The 2019 should drink well with just a few years in bottle."
The Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was planted back in 1989 and upon beds of volcanic and alluvial soils, on the eastern border of Turley Estate in Napa. Turley Estate is located in northern Napa and certified organic. The fruit is harvested at preferred ripeness before fermented with natural yeast. The wine is then aged in 100% French oak, of which just under a half is new, for 18 months.
