The ROAR 2024 Sierra Mar Vineyard Pinot Noir comes from one of the highest-elevation vineyard sites in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Cool temperatures, mountain exposure and thin, rocky soils produce a Pinot Noir with remarkable depth, savory complexity and minerality.
This is one of ROAR’s most limited single-vineyard Pinot Noirs and a standout of the 2024 vintage.

Sierra Mar Vineyard
Sierra Mar is one of ROAR’s distinctive estate vineyards in the Santa Lucia Highlands. Its high elevation, southeast-facing exposure, cool climate and thin gravelly loam and granite soils help create a Pinot Noir that combines concentrated mountain fruit with elegance and fine minerality.
ROAR was founded by longtime growers Gary and Rosella Franscioni, with the family farming some of the Santa Lucia Highlands’ most celebrated vineyard sites. Their Pinot Noirs are made with minimal intervention and gentle handling to showcase the individual character of each vineyard.
The 2024 Sierra Mar is a particularly compelling expression: dark mountain berries, savory spice, crushed-rock minerality and impressive structure, all balanced by the freshness characteristic of the Santa Lucia Highlands.
