Ramey 2022 Westside Farms Estate Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
$79.99Ramey 2022 Westside Farms Estate Pinot Noir, Russian River Valley
A wonderful Pinot Noir from Ramey - limited. Ramey's new Westside Farms Estate Pinot Noir Russian River Valley is one of our favorite Pinots from the vintage.
Our first-ever Estate Pinot Noir. For over a decade, we refined our Pinot Noir winemaking philosophy and can now marry this refreshing style to our Estate fruit from Westside Farms.
95 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The Ramey 2022 Pinot Noir Westside Farms is a bright red color and has a spiced profile with notes of ripe cherries, strawberries, toasted spices, and forest floor. The palate is highly elegant, with a medium-bodied frame, and it has an elegant freshness, refined tannins, and an even finish. (Ramey did a wonderful job of keeping elegance and freshness in this vintage.) It’s going to be released in the fall and will have a wide window for enjoyment over the next 10-12 years."
Ramey Wine Cellars, founded in 1996 by David Ramey, is a distinguished winery located in Healdsburg, California. Known for its dedication to crafting wines that marry Old World techniques with the unique terroirs of Sonoma and Napa, Ramey Wine Cellars has significantly influenced the California wine industry. David Ramey, a pioneering winemaker, has played a crucial role in this transformation, introducing innovative methods such as whole-cluster pressing, sur lies aging, and native yeast fermentations. These techniques have earned him the nickname “Professor Chardonnay” and a declaration in the Congressional Record for his contributions to American winemaking.
