Beautiful new Viognier white from one of our favorite boutique Sonoma Coast producers. Limited.
Peay Viognier does not often resemble the typical French or American Viognier in style. This is due to their very cold location for growing this grape variety. The wine has a more mineral and herbal-driven character with high acid and balanced alcohol; in other words, the opposite of the typical Viognier. The 2020 reflects the warm vintage and has fewer green, herbal descriptors but captures the lemongrass, jasmine and candied ginger notes often featured in their Viognier. These bright aromas are underpinned by lanolin, biscuit and beeswax notes. The mid-palate is silky and round and finishes with bright acidity which is well-integrated with the overall profile of the wine. You can drink this now and for the next 3-5 years without any concern of fading.
Based in the *true* West Sonoma Coast, Peay Vineyards focuses on terroir-driven, single-variety wines that underscore the beautiful expressions of the coastline's rugged terroir.

If you would like Overnight shipping, please email or call us immediately for options. Please note, expedited shipping such as "2 day air" is for transit time only, this does not include processing time and therefore does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.

Local Pick-Up
Free local pick-up is available at our SOMA warehouse. This is not a retail location and is only available for local pick-up orders. Once your order has processed, and is ready for pickup, you will receive a follow-up email containing our address with directions for pick up.
