Heidi Barrett is well-known as the original winemaker for Screaming Eagle, but Paradigm is her secret sleeper from Oakville in Napa Valley. Known for their Cabernet Sauvignon, Heidi makes a small amount of Cabernet Franc that usualy disappears in a flash. The brilliant new 2022 Paradigm Cabernet Franc Napa Valley is gorgeous now, but the patient can also revisit in another 10 years of you can wait that long.
Winemaker Tasting Notes: The 2022 Paradigm Cabernet Franc is 95% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark color and aromas of ripe blueberries, tea, and cedar. Flavors match the aromas in this soft mouthfeel and very light tannin structured Cabernet Franc. Fans of this varietal will find it true to type and a good example of what Cabernet Franc can be. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.
