New release of a classic California Chardonnay from Groth!
This single-vineyard Groth Estate Chardonnay Napa Valley is sourced exclusively from the Groth family’s Hillview Estate south of Yountville. This limited-production wine highlights the beautiful fruit — with sweet peach, citrus and exotic tropical notes, along with an underlying minerality — that so often exemplifies white wines from the Oak Knoll District.
Long, cool fermentation in a mixture of old and new barrels gives the Groth Chardonnay layers of fruitiness and complexity that result in a wine that is very enjoyable when young or after several years of bottle age. This method of fermentation, in conjunction with whole cluster pressing and "sur lie" aging add layers of toastiness and creaminess to the wine. Together these components meld together harmoniously to create a balanced wine that is both lively and rich in aroma and flavor."

If you would like Overnight shipping, please email or call us immediately for options. Please note, expedited shipping such as "2 day air" is for transit time only, this does not include processing time and therefore does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.

Local Pick-Up
Free local pick-up is available at our SOMA warehouse. This is not a retail location and is only available for local pick-up orders. Once your order has processed, and is ready for pickup, you will receive a follow-up email containing our address with directions for pick up.
