Duckhorn's North Coast Sauvignon Blanc has vibrant acidity balanced by toasted oak and a rich mouthfeel. The aroma is a combination of ripe melon, Meyer lemon, kiwi, and pineapple complemented by jasmine, honey, thyme, and a hint of spice. On the palate, the flavors are an intriguing mix of tropical and citrus notes with grapefruit, apricot, lemon grass, papaya, and pineapple that linger on the finish.
Composed of 91% Sauvignon Blanc with 9% Sémillon that fermented and aged 5 months sur lie in 94% stainless steel and 6% new French oak barrels. North Coast grape sources include: 42% Sonoma County, 42% Napa Valley, 13% Lake County, and 3% Mendocino County.
