Ripe black cherries dominate the nose, but this medium- to full-bodied wine remains lively and mouthwatering from start to finish. Silky and harmonious, with nothing out of place and culminating in a long, softly dusty finish, it’s a terrific effort."

Cassis, graphite, dark chocolate, and crushed stone notes all emerge from this rich, powerful, incredibly concentrated effort that’s full-bodied, with ripe, building tannins, incredible purity, and a blockbuster finish. It’s not for the instant gratification crowd and will require a decade to hit maturity, but it will be a 30- to 40-year wine."
