Intense aromas of chocolate, black cherry, and raspberry intermingle with savory notes of sage and thyme. The tannins are lithe, intertwining with flavors of black cherry, coffee grounds, and crushed rocks. The 2018 Estate Selection has a perfect balance of fresh acidity followed by bright fruit and minerality that extend the finish, foreshadowing significant aging potential.  Michel Rolland and Philippe Melka are consulting winemakers on this exciting new producer.

Crown Point Vineyards is located in an idyllic location 12 miles north of the Pacific Ocean, nestled between the Santa Ynez coastal range and the San Rafael mountains. The vineyard benefits from a mild Mediterranean climate, perfect for growing a diverse range of grape varietals, including Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Sauvignon Blanc.

Normal shipping via Fedex or UPS Ground will range from 3 business days (West Coast) to 7 business days (East Coast). Please note, expedited shipping such as "2 day air" is for transit time only, this does not include processing time and therefore does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.
