previous vintage 98 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "With 4% Viognier, the Cayuse Syrah Cailloux Vineyard is a medium-bodied, Northern Rhône-inspired red that's floral and lovely in rose petal, with well-integrated, moderate funk. Aged in all French oak over 18 months, it's gamey and brooding in black cherry, with a gravelly texture and ample complexity. This is an amazingly delicious, well-made wine with decades to go in bottle; hold and drink 2030-2043."
Cayuse Vineyard’s winemaker, Christopher Baron, a Champagne native, raised by a family of vignerons, had a hankering for somewhere perfect to plant Pinot Noir. He traveled all over the world to find his ideal site, and he found a neglected cherry orchard in Walla Walla, Washington that was littered with stones. These baseball size stones covering the soil reminded him of Châteauneuf-du-Pape changing his dream to plant Syrah.

Normal shipping via Fedex or UPS Ground will range from 3 business days (West Coast) to 7 business days (East Coast). If you would like Overnight shipping, please email or call us immediately for options. Please note, expedited shipping such as "2 day air" is for transit time only, this does not include processing time and therefore does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.

Local Pick-Up
Free local pick-up is available at our SOMA warehouse. This is not a retail location and is only available for local pick-up orders. Once your order has processed, and is ready for pickup, you will receive a follow-up email containing our address with directions for pick up.
