A rare Pinot Noir release from Cakebread - get it while it's available!
One hundred percent of the grapes for this Cakebread Pinot Noir came from the winery's estate vineyard near Boonville in the southern end of Anderson Valley.  Masculine in style with dense, brooding, black plum, dark chocolate, vanilla and roasted coffee aromas. The full-bodied palate is lush and textured, with layers of mouthfilling dark fruit and chocolate-tinged flavors balanced by ripe, supple tannins. Delicious now with hearty fare, the Cakebread 2022 Pinot Noir is a big, youthful Pinot Noir will soften and gain further complexity with another 3 to 5 years of bottle age.
From the winery: We call our family's Annahala and Apple Barn estate vineyards the 'Two Creek Vineyards,' since these former apple orchards sit on the banks of Anderson Creek, not far from the Pacific Ocean. Here, the soils and weather patterns are ideal for cultivating Pinot Noir, which thrives in the chilly, maritime climate due to the proximity of the Pacific. This climate promotes slow and even ripening, which results in grapes with maximum fruit flavors and a precise balance of opulence and structure for our Cakebread Pinot Noir.

Normal shipping via Fedex or UPS Ground will range from 3 business days (West Coast) to 7 business days (East Coast). If you would like Overnight shipping, please email or call us immediately for options. Please note, expedited shipping such as "2 day air" is for transit time only, this does not include processing time and therefore does not guarantee a specific delivery date. Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.

Local Pick-Up
