Rare new release                                                  Â
Rare new release from Paso Robles cult winery Linne Calodo. Â Limited.
97 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2021 Rising Tides checks in as 60% Grenache, 37% Syrah, and a splash of Mourvèdre that was raised in just 20% new French oak. Its semi-opaque ruby/plum hue is followed by a thrillingly perfumed red loaded with notions of kirsch liqueur, peppery herbs, candied flowers, and wild strawberries. It's full-bodied, round, seamless, and incredibly polished on the palate, with gorgeous tannins. A stunning wine readers will love, it should evolve for a decade."
Robert Parker: "...I’ve written it numerous time, but Linne Calodo remains one of the reference point estates in Paso Robles. Winemaker/owner Matt Trevisan consistently puts together exotic and singular blends that deliver opulence as well as balance. A genius when it comes to fashioning incredible blends from Syrah, Mourvedre, Grenache and Zinfandel (as well as a few others), Linne Calodo's Matt Trevisan eschews single varieties and makes seamless, elegant and character-filled wines that are always an utter joy to drink."
