The Ghost Block 2023 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon comprises a blend of Rock Cairn Vineyard in Oakville and the estate Ghost Block Vineyard in Yountville.
95 Points Brix26: "The Ghost Block 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits the typical distinctive flavors of Ghost Block and the Rock Cairn vineyard. Finesse oriented with an elegant balance and structure. Bright floral aromatics, such as rose petals and tobacco. A full-bodied cabernet that attacks with loads of dark berry fruits, cocoa and nutmeg. The palate is supported by the lasting finish of black cherries and coffee."
94 Points Wine Spectator: "A broad-shouldered, juicy, fleshy, fruit-driven version, with waves of boysenberry and blackberry compote tumbling through alongside licorice and apple wood notes. A flash of iris adds lift through the brambly finish. Approachable for its copious fruit, but there’s no rush due to the structure. Drink now through 2040."

Coveted by celebrity winemakers, the fruit from this and nearby vineyards has been the cornerstone of many of Napa's "Cult Wines". The secret is out. Production is very limited.
