A wine of depth and dignity, the Trefethen 2021 Oak Knoll District is an elegant expression of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon reflects everything we have learned farming our estate vineyards in the cool climate of the Oak Knoll District since 1968. Achieving a density of dark fruit on the palate, we maintain a bright and lively peppery spiciness, resulting in a wine of impeccable balance that evolves beautifully in both the glass and the cellar.

Founded in 1968 when Eugene and Katie Trefethen purchased the then‑dilapidated Eshcol Winery—originally built in 1886 by Scottish engineer Hamden McIntyre—Trefethen Winery is one of Napa’s last surviving wooden gravity‑flow wineries. It’s listed on the National Register of Historic Places and was carefully restored after earthquake damage in 2014.
