Lewis Cellars 2018 'Cuvee L" Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

From former race car driver Randy Lewis' Napa Valley vineyards, this is the super-charged version of the winery's highly-regarded Cabernets.

From the outstanding 2018 vintage our Cuvee L is a league champion wine with serious World Series potential. The line-up card includes cascading black fruit, Mission fig and Turkish arabica coffee laced with cedary, oak-infused spices. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon the wine is lifted and expansive, leaving the yard with velocity and polish.

previous vintage 95 Points Wine Spectator: "Seductive mocha notes infuse a tempting mix of mocha, vanilla, and espresso flavors before returning to a dense core of extracted dark berry, graphite, lead pencil and oak. Though tannic, this shows a suppleness to the texture. Cabernet Sauvignon. Best from 2022 through 2038."

Spectacularly ripe fruit laced in sexy clove and oak spices, this wine is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and total seduction. Youthful and forward with juicy blackberry, silk-skinned plum and rich, malt chocolate, ample tannins bring maturity, depth and heightened experience to the wine. Only 150 cases produced.
