In 1963, former Paris sommelier Georges Delille purchased what became Domaine de Terrebrune in Ollioules, near Bandol, and spent a decade restoring the property, terracing hillsides, replanting vineyards, and building a cellar. His son Reynald joined in 1980, launching their first bottled vintage and naming the estate for its distinctive brown soils. Today, their 30 hectares are farmed organically, with limestone-rich soils and cooling maritime breezes contributing to fresh, mineral-driven wines, especially their Mourvèdre-based Bandols. The wines, including rosé and white, are known for their balance and ageworthiness. The rosé is a blend of 50% Mourvèdre, 25% Grenache and 25% Cinsault.
