98+ Points Robert Parker: "A barrel sample composed of a hypothetical blend of around ten different lots (final blend to be confirmed), the Rudd 2016 Oakville Estate Proprietary Red Wine has a youthfully exuberant nose of warm blueberries, black plums and licorice with touches of dark chocolate, baking spices and roses. Full-bodied, rich, opulent and drop-dead sexy, the palate reveals tons of warm black and blue fruits with a spicy undercurrent and soft, plush tannins, finishing with great length."

Layered, silky and exceptionally polished, the 2016 has so much to offer. Mocha, spice, menthol, plum, black cherry and gravel infuse this mid-weight, super-expressive, vibrant Oakville wine. Dollops of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot add aromatic intensity as the wine finds a more floral and red-toned aromatic upper register with time in the glass.
