A fantastic new Chardonnay from Hestan by winemaker Thomas Brown (Shrader, Outpost). Limited.

Hestan's first wine produced by esteemed Napa Valley winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown,  the Hestan Chardonnay boasts an impeccable balance of flavor and structure. Bright fruit flavors with a round, full mouthfeel, the wine offers depth and a long, elegant finish. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Tremendous richness with a whopping 14.1% Alcohol yet so balanced that you hardly feel the sheer weight of it from start to end with its long lingering finish.  Barrel fermented in French oak barrels.  Planted in 1997, this vineyard is located 300 yards from the San Francisco Bay, at the very southern end of Highway 29, which runs north and south through Napa Valley.  A tiny 350 cases were produced so hurry!

The Hestan 2019 Chardonnay is unfiltered and unfined. It is sur-lee aged and goes through a light malolactic fermentation. The oak regimen is 40% new and 60% neutral.
