The 2021 growing season was much akin to 2017 with intense heat waves driving dark ripe cherry flavors, warm spices and firm tannins. The Chase 2021 Hayne Vineyard Zinfandel has a dense and deep nose, leading into rich tones of dark cherry and sweet tobacco. As the wine opens it quickly unfurls and dances across the palate with copious amounts of verve and energy! The balance is impeccable, making it the perfect pairing with your favorite glass or summer barbecue.

At the foot of the Mayacamas in St. Helena, the historic Hayne Vineyard is home to an array of incredible vines including our 119-year old heritage Zinfandel. These vines are the pinnacle of family and farming that transform our grapes into wines that are living works of art.

Our ability to respond to expedited requests depends on the particular wines’ availability. We work with many small-production wines which, if not in stock may need to be acquired direct from the winery and may not be available for shipping for several days after your order is placed.
