95 points - limited
A fantastic small-production Pinot from Flower's Estate Seaview Vineyard. Limited.
95 Points 'Cellar Selection' Wine Enthusiast: "The most notable thing about this Pinot is its intensity of flavor. A blend of both new Dijon clones and older California selections of Pinot Noir, it is stunning with flavors of raspberries, cherries and Dr. Pepper. It’s a balanced, elegant wine with vibrant texture , but needs time to truly shine. Hold till at least 2017."
Brand new release of Flowers's highly sought-after Chardonnay! Limited time only.
This Flowers 2017 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast is a blend of several of Flower's Sonoma Coast vineyards, including Camp Meeting Ridge. Showing balanced depth and complexity, light straw to golden color, aromas unfold with layers of lemon peel, green apple, orange blossom and wet stone minerality. This vintage shows weighted richness on the palate, a supple texture, long clean finish with fresh and bright acidity. Showing very well now and will continue to gain complexity for 1 - 3 years.
The new Flowers 2018 Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast now available.
94 Points James Suckling: "Beautiful dark berries with ripe strawberries and hints of decadence and richness. Some meat, too. Full-bodied, dense and rich with tight and linear tannins. Needs a year or two to soften. Better in 2022."
93 Points Wine Enthusiast: "The Pinot Noir (Sonoma Coast) is a very pretty appellation-level Pinot from Flowers. Rose petal, crushed flowers, sage, mint and crushed berries are all nicely laced together, with a touch of whole cluster influence that adds attractive aromatic overtones. Medium in body, gracious and light on its feet, the 2017 has so much to offer. What a pretty wine this is."
