94 points James Suckling: "An subtle nose with plenty of fine autolysis aromas of fresh bread and sweetly fragrant yeasty notes, plus some gentle spice and chalky notes. The palate unleashes beautiful wild strawberry fruit flavors, super fresh, fleshy and pure. Great balance and depth."
93 points Wine Spectator: "The Billecart-Salmon is a lovely rosé in an almost vinous style, with mouthwatering acidity and a fine, lacy mousse carrying appealing flavors of ripe raspberry, white cherry fruit, star anise, mandarin orange peel and honeysuckle. Lightly chalky on the lasting finish. Enjoy with food. Drink now through 2020."

This is 100% Chardonnay from the CĂ´te des Blancs, rich, with a surprisingly delicate quality, round yet mineral. It features a rose-like nose with citrus and ginger, and in the mouth hints of biscuit and breadcrust. Fantastic with rich, creamy seafood dishes especially.
91 points Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar: Â (made from fruit grown in the grand crus Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cramant and Avize): "Light, green-tinged gold. High-pitched lemon, lime, talc and quinine aromas show very good clarity. Very dry, but there's impressive heft and body to its juicy orchard fruit and bitter citrus zest flavors. The dry finish displays very good energy and mineral-driven persistence."

New release from the Caymus family! Â Jenny Wagner, daughter of Caymus' Chuck Wagner, has introduced this outstanding "methode traditionelle" Sparkling wine from her new label Emmolo.
Lustrous light gold, this wine opens with aromas of daffodils, the bisoctti cookie jar in my grandparetns' kitchen, and a lsigh hint of new leather. Soft bubbles fill the mouth upon entry, with an immediate freshness that yields to creaminess from extended aging in tirage. The palate features the mineral character of wt stone and mouthwatering bright citrus flavors. Subtle and alluring on the finish - like catching the scent of your favorite bakery on a breezy, sunny afternoon.
Continuing the legacy of the Wagner Family's other profound wine ventures such as Caymus, Belle Glos, and Conundrum, Jenny Wagner takes the reins of Emmolo Winery and is making a hit with these new releases! Her family has a long-standing history in Napa Valley beginning with her great-grandfather, Italian immigrant, Salvatore Emmolo, who planted grapevines and started a grapevine rootstock nursery in Rutherford in the 1920’s. His son, and Jenny's grandfather, Frank Emmolo, ran Emmolo Nursery and built a strong following amongst Napa Valley grapegrowers - becoming the leading supplier to Napa Valley vintners for five decades.

Second release from the exclusive new rosé Champagne from Chateau Miraval owned by Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie and the legendary Pierre Peters in Champagne.
94 Points Wine Spectator:  "A pale rosé Champagne lightly copper in color with an appealing nose of ripe fruit and spice. Lightly mouthwatering and satin-like on the palate a harmonious version that layers ripe notes of white cherry blood orange sorbet and nectarine with savory accents of salted almond oyster shell and saffron. Not a powerhouse but finely-detailed throughout and long on the well-cut finish. Drink now through 2028."
Champagne Fleur de Miraval is the first Champagne house dedicated exclusively to the production of Rosé. This project, five years in the making, is a collaboration between three families: iconic winemaking families Champagne Pierre Péters, in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Famille Perrin of Château de Beaucastel in the Rhône valley and Château de Miraval owners, the Jolie-Pitt family. Fleur de Miraval is singular in both its ethos — exclusively Rosé — and production. The house, located in Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, focuses solely on the Côte des Blancs. This first edition is 75% Grand Cru Chardonnay, from Cramant, Avize, Oger and Le Mesnil, blended with 25% Pinot Noir from Vertus 1er Cru, made in the saignée method. The Chardonnay comes from a perpetual cuvée started in 2007, a system that winemaker Rodolphe Péters has perfected at his family Domaine.

This is the top cuvée from Henriot, and is sourced from just six grand cru villages. It is composed of 50% Chardonnay from Avize, Chouilly, and Mesnil and 50% Pinot Noir, only from the northern grand crus of Mailly, Verzenay, and Verzy. This small-production Champagne is released very late, and justifies its price with the long ageing that has been lavished on it. If you are looking for something decadently rich, yet still bright and light on the finish, look no further. Limited.
96 Points: "The Cuvée Hemera is Henriot’s new name for their Tête de Cuvée bottling, which had previously been known as Cuvée Enchanteleurs. This is the first vintage of the house’s top of the line bottling that has been crafted from beginning to end by Cellar Master Laurent Fresnet. The wine is a fifty-fifty blend of chardonnay and pinot noir, as is the case with their Brut Millésime, but here, only grand cru vineyards are used for the cuvée. The 2005 Cuvée Hemera was aged twelve years sur latte prior to disgorgement and a finishing dosage of five grams per liter. The bouquet is deep, pure and stunning, offering up a very refined blend of pear, apple, a touch of hazelnut, gentle smokiness, a very complex base of soil tones, fresh-baked bread and just a whisper of caraway seed in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, focused and rock solid at the core, with impeccable focus and grip, very refined mousse and outstanding length and grip on the poised, balanced and exquisite finish. This is simply outstanding!"
95 Points Wine Enthusiast: "Only produced in the top years, this wine, named apparently after the Greek goddess of daylight, has just achieved maturity. It is rich in notes of almonds and toast that meld together with the ripe white fruits. It's a great wine that is impressive and ready to drink, although it will also easily age further. *Top 100 Cellar Selections of 2018*

The best selling rosé Champagne in the world, Laurent-Perrier is one of the few rosés still made by the saignée method. To emphasize this traditional technique, the Champagne is bottled in an embossed bottle that is a reproduction of those used in the late 17th century.
This salmon-pink rosé Champagne is truly remarkable for its highly expressive bouquet, stemming from very careful preservation of fresh fruit aromas during the winemaking. Made with 100% pinot noir using skin contact, also known as the saignée method, Laurent-Perrier's know-how and attention to quality produces a finely crafted rosé with both depth and freshness. It has become the benchmark for rosé Champagne around the world.
91 points Wine Spectator: "A big, beefy rosé. Very Pinot Noir-like, with leaf, cherry and earth notes matched to a firm, muscular structure. Has warmth and personality, with a lingering finish. Begs for herb-roasted chicken."

A "Best Buy" from Louis Roederer, one of France's top Champagne houses.
94 Points James Suckling: "Aromas of cooked apple, bread dough and lemon tart follow through to a full body with round, delicious fruit and a rich, flavorful finish. Yet, it remains tight and fine with lovely, compressed bubbles. New energy and freshness. Medium-to full-bodied with layers of fruit and vivid intensity."
93 points Robert Parker: "This debut release is very impressive indeed, wafting from the glass with notes of pear, peach, ripe citrus fruit, toasted almonds, fresh pastry and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, pillowy and textural, it's concentrated and layered, with lively acids, an enlivening pinpoint mousse and a long, sapid finish. Brut Premier was already a very persuasive wine, but the new Brut Collection nevertheless represents a step up."
92 Points Vinous: "Whereas Brut Premier was typically a focused, nervy wine that, while consistently excellent, also was not always in line with the Roederer house style, the 242 tastes more like a Roederer Champagne in terms of its complexity. Incidentally, there is no Vintage, Cristal or Cristal Rosé in 2017, so all the best lots went into this bottling. Dosage is 8 grams per liter, so lower than the 9 or so that was typical for recent Brut Premier and much lower than the 12-13 that was once customary. The 242 was also bottled with a bit less sugar than the norm, which results in lower atmospheres of pressure in the bottle and silkier texture."

Levi Dalton at Convivio (NYC) compared this wine to the pianist who hits the right keys at the right moment. He's referring to the precision of the wine, which is astonishing. There is no singular flavor, but rather a resonant chord, a series of oppositions that create the invisible intensity of an electric current, the power of the charge balanced by the elegance of the flavor and the structure of the wine. You could describe it as light and brisk, or bold and intense; either way, you'll still be tasting it ten minutes later.

The non-vintage, light-bodied Prosecco di Valdobiaddene Rustico offers gorgeously elegant, fresh, lively fruit, notes of bread dough and citrus, and persistent effervescence.
94 Points Wine Enthusiast "Editors' Choice":Â "Aromas of white spring flower, Bartlett pear and citrus waft out of the glass. The racy, refreshing palate is full of energy, offering crisp yellow-apple, lemon drop and orange zest flavors balanced by vibrant acidity. A perlage of small, refined and continuous bubbles provides the silky backdrop."
92 Points James Suckling: "A delicious and fresh Prosecco that is dry and clean with subtle lemon and fennel notes and some spicy pears. Medium body. Fine bubbles and a fruity finish."

A Brix26 exclusive, Pierre Morlet's "Grand Reserve" is a Premier Cru Champagne. Rare library release of the 2012 Millesime vintage.
2012 was an excellent year for Champagne, although not without curveballs around harvest! Quality is excellent, and the 2012 Pierre Morlet is no exception! Showing notes like ripe citrus, earthy red berry fruit, with a classic toasty-yeasty mid-palate. A very long finish that hints at exotic spice. Exceptional, rich, satisfying, and fascinating. The 2012 has a sligly higher Chardonnay component than the regular NV Brut Reserve. Varietals: 74% Pinot Noir, 26% Chardonnay

Roederer Estate's special tête de cuvée, L'Ermitage, is a sparkling wine made only in exceptional years from pre-selected, estate-grown grapes. Carrying on the tradition of Champagne Louis Roederer in France, Roederer Estate produces its sparkling wines in the traditional French methode and adds special oak-aged reserve wines to each blend. L'Ermitage debuted with the 1989 vintage and is designed to be California's version of Roederer's "Cristal." Limited.
97 Points Wine Enthusiast "Cellar Selection": "Luxurious and layered, this nicely mature wine has a broad range of complex aromas and flavors, from fig to mushroom to butter and baking spices that ride a supple texture and linger for a long finish. The very fine bead, plush texture and a creamy richness that verges on sweetness are practically irresistible. Best through 2025."
95 Points Wine Spectator: "Classically styled and expressively vibrant, this bubbly opens to flavors of baked apple, roasted hazelnut, clove, nutmeg and other spices. The finish fans out, building a lingering richness. Drink now through 2023."
Wine & Spirits "BEST OF THE YEAR":  "Roederer Estate's Brut is reliably open and delicious, this year's cuvée bursting with concentrated apple flavor. It's clean and dry with a long delicate finish enhanced by the barrel-aged reserve wines that winemaker Arnaud Weyrich blends in. Its bold flavors and vinous texture would be great with cracked crab."

92 Points Decanter Magazine: " I would happily drink this wine every day if there weren’t so many other wines in the world to taste. Its wonderful play of creamy yet kinetic textures, the custardy, limey flavours, and its impeccable focus all add up to one of the best ways possible to greet 6pm after a long work day. Roederer Estate was, in my opinion, the first California sparkling producer to achieve complexity in its wines – especially in the estate’s prestige cuvée, L’Ermitage. The Brut (sold as Quartet in the UK) is generally 60% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir. "
As fresh as crunchy apples in the fall, this wine opens to beautiful richness with air. There’s toasty character from the lees aging and brighter notes of red fruit, hinting at raspberries. A clean sparkler with impressive flavor depth, this serves equally well as a refreshing aperitif or a substantial dinner partner with seafood sausage.

A rare sparkling wine from Santa Barbara cult producer Sea Smoke. Limited.
The Pinot Noir for this methode champenoise sparkling wine from Sea Smoke is the result of a careful cluster selection from their estate vineyard. The grapes were gently pressed following an evening in our cold room, then transferred to stainless tanks to begin a long, cool fermentation, which was completed in once-used and neutral French oak barrels. Following six months of sur lie aging in barrel, the wine was bottle aged an additional 16 months en tirage prior to disgorging. The wine was finished with no dosage, to preserve its finesse. The nuanced nose expresses cranberries, lavender, fresh bread and lemon curd. The wine enters the palate with energetic freshness and finishes with delightful length.
