After five vintages spent exploring three sites on the Valley floor, 100-point winemaker Jean Hoefliger has chosen three classic Napa vineyards, each perfectly showcasing the mountain and hillside terroir found in these tiny sites. Due to topography and water circulation, hillside vineyards tend to have smaller berries, and therefore, wines with more concentration. Each of these vineyards is distinctly different even though they are mere miles apart moving north along the eastern hills of the Vaca Mountain Range. This pack contains one each of the following:

- Denali in St Helena overlooks Joseph Phelps Vineyard at about 500 feet of elevation. The gravelly and sandy loam vineyard is shared between renowned winemakers Michel Rolland, Celia Welch, Phillipe Melka, and Jean Hoefliger. It is the warmest and earliest ripening Cabernet Sauvignon site with a beautiful terraced vineyard that produces small, concentrated berries with limitless personality. JD97+ WA95

- Artalade Vineyard is located on Pritchard Hill, neighboring famous estates such as Colgin, Chappellet and Tusk. Perched at 1,100 feet on volcanic and iron soils with a hint of clay, these wines offer a peek inside the famous Pritchard Hill. JD 95+ WA95

 - Sacrashe Vineyard on a Rutherford plateau above Auberge du Soleil, known for the great wines of Sloan. The distinctive chalk in the soil turns the ground white, it cannot be confused with any other site in the Valley. WA95+ JD95
