New release! The Pahlmeyer Jayson Proprietary Red is a second label of the same wine that goes into the Pahlmeyer Proprietary Red. This is a fantastic opportunity at a great price - limited.
Jayson Red Wine is a distinctive blend of Bordeaux varieties from some of Napa Valley’s finest vineyards, crafted to express each vintage with intensity and richness. The wine was fermented in stainless steel tanks to enhance its fresh fruit profile and retain its bright acidity. It was then racked to barrels (22% New French Oak) for fifteen months and bottled with minimal fining and filtration.
New release! The Pahlmeyer "Jayson" Sauvignon Blanc is the latest addition to the Pahlmeyer lineup and a fantastic buy.
90 Points Wine Spectator: "Lanolin and spice details add a savory element to the delicate lemon curd, mandarin orange and lime sherbet flavors, finding harmony and a juicy thread of acidity on the finish."
The 2019 Jayson by Pahlmeyer Sauvignon Blanc reveals bright pear and white peach aromas with tropical notes of pineapple and hints of fresh cut flowers. The palate is clean and focused, with crisp green apple notes and a rich, round palate with wet stone on the lingering finish. Balanced acidity makes this wine a perfect pair for oysters, crab cakes, or lobster bisque.
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes were hand-sorted and gently pressed as whole clusters. The wine was fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels to highlight the beautiful acidity of the fruit, while enhancing its complexity.
The Pahlmeyer "Jayson" Chardonnay is the second label of the "Industrial Strength" Pahlmeyer Chardonnay and an amazing buy.
92 Points Wine Spectator: "A touch of creamy oak adds a nice textural dimension, joining vibrant apple, pineapple and tropical fruit flavors. Ends with a dash of butterscotch. Drink now through 2022."
After a meticulous selection process in assembling the final blend of the Pahlmeyer Chardonnay, the winery assigned the remaining lots of wine to the "Jayson" label. The Pahlmeyer Jayson Chardonnay was hand crafted with the same care and attention that is given to all of their wines and the fruit comes from the same vineyard as the $85 version . It is an excellent value at a fraction of the price of regular Pahlmeyer Chardonnay.

New Sonoma Coast releases from Pahlmeyer - limited.
98+ Points Robert Parker: "The 2018 Chardonnay Wayfarer Vineyard opens with explosive perfume! Gunflint, spring honey, white flowers and salted almonds mingle over rich quince paste and warm apple fruit. The palate is equally as compelling, its powerful, rich layers of flavor packed into an ultra silky frame, offering bright pops of juiciness and a finish that goes on forever. Wow! It's stunning now but may improve with more time in bottle."
96 Points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2018 Chardonnay Wayfarer Vineyard is a fitting conclusion to this tasting of 2018s. Rich and viscous in the glass, with terrific energy, the 2018 is wonderfully complete, not to mention incredibly delicious. Lemon confit, white pepper, mint, jasmine and light tropical notes develop in the glass, but it is the wine's textural feel that really stands out. The 2018 is a drop-dead gorgeous beauty. The Wayfarer Vineyard spent 16 months in oak, about 70% new."
Cleo Pahlmeyer, daughter of Napa Valley's Jayson Pahlmeyer, came up with the idea of produce a stand-alone brand from the Wayfarer Vineyard on the Sonoma coast in 2012. According to the St. Helena Star, "then-Pahlmeyer winemaker Helen Turley had called the property the destined 'La Tache of California,' referring to the blessed grand cru in Burgundy." Pahlmeyer teamed up with winemaker Bibiana González Rave, formerly of Lynmar, on this project. The Star: "Indeed, the 2013 Wayfarer Vineyard Chardonnay has well-integrated oak nuances, with toastiness on the nose that expresses itself more as a complex, rich mouth feel on the palate. Pahlmeyer explained that the medium toast of the barrels used is key to maintaining balanced flavor; a heavier toast is not desired. The 2012 Wayfarer chardonnay ages in 65 percent new French oak
