This lot was planted exclusively for Hyde de Villaine on an optimal eastern location on Hyde Vineyard, Ygnacia Pinot Noir grows with southern exposure roughly 50 feet above sea level upon beds of haire clay loam over clay hardpan. The wines are aged for 16 months in 15% New French Oak. No fining or filtering. Aromatically the wine is perfumed with dried rose petals and violets, with small tight berries and earthy undertones. On the palate, the wine has notes of blueberries and confirmed floral flavors with bright acidity and minerality.
