New release of a classic California Chardonnay!
Long, cool fermentation in a mixture of old and new barrels gives our Chardonnay layers of fruitiness and complexity that result in a wine that is very enjoyable when young or after several years of bottle age. This method of fermentation, in conjunction with whole cluster pressing and "sur lie" aging add layers of toastiness and creaminess to the wine. Together these components meld together harmoniously to create a balanced wine that is both lively and rich in aroma and flavor."
New release of one of Napa Valley's finest Sauvignon Blancs!
Our 2015 Groth Sauvignon Blanc was produced from grapes grown in various microclimates of the Napa Valley. The warmer Napa Valley microclimates give us grapes that result in wines with a lush, full melon/citrus character in the aroma and in the flavor. The cooler Napa Valley fruit provides a solid, crisp backbone that gives the wine an exciting liveliness that balances the rich creaminess from "sur lie" aging.

The Groth 2012 Cabernet hits on all cylinders. Consistently one of the benchmark wines of the Napa Valley. Another Napa Classic!
95 Points James Suckling: "This is very classy with mineral, black currant and spice character. Shows chili and Thai basil too. Full body, firm tannins and a bright and persistent finish. Extremely long and elegant. Best ever from here in years?"
"The 2012 vintage does appear to be a near-perfect vintage", writes James Suckling, "and most producers, even more commercial wineries, made outstanding quality wines....the 2012s tend to show wonderful opulence and purity as well as harmony and balance. Moreover, they are wonderfully attractive to drink young, which is an added value for Napa reds when compared with some other key wine regions in the world."
Groth Winery sits on the 121-acre Oakcross Vineyard planted by Justin Meyer and Ray Duncan of Silver Oak in the heart of the Oakville appellation. This prime Cabernet Sauvignon land serves owner Dennis Groth and winemaker Michael Weis well as they fashion some of Napa Valley's best Cabernets.

One of the top Napa Cabernets of the vintage, the Groth 2013 Reserve Cab is a classic. Delicious now but a great cellar candidate as well. Limited.
The Groth 2013 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon shows the intrinsic black stone fruit nuances and the soft tannin structure that define the Oakville, Napa Valley-floor Cabernet. The reds are stunning – amazing colors in wines that are soft, supple and full bodied. Amazing results from an amazing year!

93 Points Wine Spectator: "Remarkably rich and well-made, with a taut, dense core of earthy anise and black licorice notes woven into currant and blackberry elements. Once settled, the flavors expand and lift, imparting a sense of elegance and finesse without losing the tannic backbone. Best from 2020 through 2034."
