The Frank Family Vineyard’s Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon exposes its depth immediately with its dense dark purple color. The aromas are bountiful, brimming with juicy brambleberries and ripe black cherries that are laced with notes of smoke and roasted espresso and followed by hints of tobacco, earth and cedar. The palate is opulent and intense, bursting with ripe blackberries and currants, with just a touch of sage. The rich fruit is balanced with complex tannins providing a plush, yet firm mouthfeel that is round and supple with lasting depth.
90 Points Robert Parker: "Blended of 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, the 2017 Cabernet Sauvignon is deep garnet-purple in color with scents of herbs, crushed red and black currants, plum preserves, underbrush and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is crunchy, lively, firm and chewy with an herbal lift to the finish."
