Domaines Ott is the king of French roses. This is the wine The New York Times dubbed "the summer drink to be seen with!" Order while supplies last.
95 Points Wine & Spirits: "The Château de Selle sits on a limestone slope in the forested inland reaches of Provence. The soil is nearly half rock and the sun is intense, an imposing landscape for cultivating anything, yet this rosé is one of the most elegant we tasted from the 2017 vintage. The concentration of the fruit comes through in the wine’s luxurious satin texture, while the flavors remain restrained—hints of melon, lemon and red cherry highlighting its earthy savor. It’s very pale, but don’t let the hue fool you: It’s structured and mineral, a firm rosé that wouldn’t be out of place at Le Bernardin."
Hand-picking, extremely selective sorting and delicate pressing of the grapes, and finally maturing in oak barrels, are just some of the reasons why Domaine Ott Rose has a reputation of being "the finest rose in the world." A delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Cinsault. Domaines Ott's winery is located on a former dwelling of the Counts of Provence, a superb 18th century country house in Provence. The surrounding estate, entirely carved into the rocky land by Marcel Ott, his children and grandchildren, has been remodeled and replanted several times over.
Another great new release from Dave Phinney at Orin Swift - extremely limited. Fragile is the inaugural rosé release from Orin Swift's Department 66 winery in Maury, France.
Pale salmon in color with a cherry blossom fringe, the wind brooms with perfume floral notes, blood orange zest, any hint of wild aniseed.casually acidic with soft Celine notes on the entry, the wind is vibrant and bright with dance read current flavors, crystallized strawberries, and a pink grapefruit court. And incisive finish with red berry skin extract is balanced with clean and lifting acidity.
Blend: predominately a blend of Grenache with small percentages of Syrah and Carignan.
This wine comes from Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's Provence estate, Château Miraval, and is possibly the most anticipated release of a rosé ever seen. Hurry before it sells out in a flash. The new summer wine to be seen with!
Made in partnership with the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel and featuring a distinctive Champagne punt design, it comes from a blend of Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah and Rolle (aka Vermentino). It was made using a combination of direct pressing and the saignée method and vinified primarily in stainless vats. Roughly 5% was fermented in oak barrels to give the wine added richness. All grapes for this wine are grown using organic techniques.
91 points Jeb Dunnuck: "The 2017 Miraval Côtes De Provence Rosé is gorgeous. Peach, citrus, and raspberry notes all leap from the glass and it's juicy, vibrant, and crisp on the palate. This is terrific, and I suspect the finest vintage to date for this cuvée."
91 points Wine Enthusiast: "Still owned jointly by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, this beautiful estate has produced a rich, full wine. Made for the owners by the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel in the Rhône Valley, this wine exhibits great sophistication, with rich caramel and strawberry fruit and spice finish."
New release of Heidi Barrett's Rare Paradigm Rosé of Merlot! Perfect for summer. An exclusive.
"Our Rosé is made of 100% Merlot grapes from our Oakville Estate. The color is a beautiful pale salmon pink. The aromatics are clean and fresh of strawberries, honeysuckle, and pink grapefruit. Crisp acidity and flavors that match the aromas carry the wine across the palate. Refreshing and easy to drink, this wine is very enjoyable."
