CADE is Plumpjack's hot new winery on Howell Mountain. Limited.
The 2014 vintage was more than ideal in Napa Valley. We had perfect growing condidtions in 2014 with no rain during the harvest months and warm temperatures resulting in wines with amazing color, huge density, and great extration.
Robert Parker: "This is a very strong set of wines from Cade, the Howell Mountain sister property of Plumpjack. Winemaker Tony Biagi and his team have crafted a gorgeous set of 2009s and 2010s. The wines are very different stylistically, yet quite similar in terms of quality. The Howell Mountain bottling includes purchased fruit and a dollop of Merlot. The Estate bottling is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, naturally from the estate’s own vineyards, and tends to be vinified with 100% natural malos. Both wines are striking."

A new great-value Petite Sirah from the folks at PlumpJack's Odette Estate. Limited.
This 2013 Petite Sirah is loaded with depth, superior concentration and a multitude of layers. It possesses aromatics of blackberry jam, plums, violets, and hints of brown sugar and nutmeg followed by raspberries, cloves and smoky oak on the palate.
New release of Plumpjack's Reserve Chardonnay - limited.
The 2015 PlumpJack Reserve Chardonnay is a fantastic Napa Chardonnay. Aromas of white peaches, pear, orange blossom and warm apple pie filling are followed on the palate with flavors of Fuji apples, cinnamon stick and lemon curd. Very pleasant to drink now but the acidity gives it room to age.
Plumpjack opts not for the typical profile of Napa Chardonnay with this bottling, but for the "alternative," without malolactic fermentation, and the attendant buttery palate profile. The winery's vintage note explains: "The cooler Carneros site imparts this wine with fresh green apple and Bartlett pear on the nose, while the warmer St. Helena site lends to some tropical notes. The Carneros vineyard also gives this wine a beautiful, bright, lively acidity, which is balanced by the creamy, rich texture of the St. Helena fruit. A touch of oak gives the wine traces of vanilla, flint, and spice."
