New release! The Darioush 2017 Signature Pinot Noir is a classic Russian River Valley vintage: ripe, lush and profoundly concentrated, yet epitomizing the stylistic profile thats signature Darioush.
Darioush Signature Pinot Noir is a vineyard-driven wine sourced since 2003 from a small, unique parcel in one of the most cherished micro-regions in the Russian River Valley. Ideally suited for Pinot Noir, the predominant soil type is Goldridge, derived from an ancient inland sea that slowly emptied into the Pacific Ocean. Its excellent drainage and low soil fertility allow us to create a balanced vineyard ecosystem yielding exceptional, high-quality fruit without irrigation. The vineyard’s gently sloping southeastern exposure combined with 35+ year vine age yield poised, complex and age-worthy wines.

One of the best California Cabs under $60 we've found this year! The 2018 Darioush Caravan Cabernet Sauvignon is a plush bordeaux-style blend that epitomizes the stylistic profile thats signature Darioush.
Tasting Notes: "Round, supple and sleek – all are traits of Caravan Cabernet Sauvignon, and the exemplary 2018 vintage is no exception. Anchored by a significant blend of Merlot, the wine opens with decadent top notes of chocolate coated cherries, fig and black currants. The palate showcases ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, with firm tannins and hints of spice – cinnamon, vanilla and cherry liqueur. This is a substantial wine, built to age, yet equally enjoyable in its youth."
Caravan shares the pedigree of Darioush’s Signature wines, but displays more ripe, saturated fruit with an elegantly textured finish. Caravan Cabernet Sauvignon is anchored in Cabernet Sauvignon with lesser amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and/or Malbec added for depth and complexity of flavor.

One of California's greatest white wines is the Darioush Viognier - try it while this small-production gem is still available!
90 Points Wine Spectator:Â "This strikes the right balance between bold and graceful, with ripe apricot and mango flavors providing a fleshy texture, showing details of peach blossom and yellow apple, with refreshing acidity. Drink now."
The Darioush estate grown Viognier derives its unique style from a four-acre vineyard site in the Oak Knoll appellation. The cool micro-climate of the vineyard allows this temperamental varietal to slowly develop robust and concentrated floral and fruit characteristics. The fruit, and resulting wine, is minimally handled to express its pure and fragrant nature. Honeysuckle, jasmine and citrus fruit aromas leap from the glass, introducing a vibrant and succulent mouthfeel of juicy peach and cantaloupe balanced by the bright acidity of Fuji apple and lemon zest. The 2014 Viognier finishes with lingering notes of dried apricot, nutmeg and vanilla bean.
