Its medium gold hue is followed by a great, classic nose of ripe white peach, caramelized citrus, white flowers, and a touch of rocky, mineral-like nuances. It's actually made in a fresher, more elegant style than the richer Sonoma County release yet brings plenty of richness and texture."
 
The bountiful yields of 2021 had tons of character too, as seen in the superb Lewis Napa Valley Chardonnay. Creamy pear, lime and caramel apple fruit basks in brioche, clove and sweet mineral spices. Loads of tree-ripened fruit form a dense, silky core rooted in natural acidity that gives the wine balance and sound structure. Flecks of gun metal, flint and whetstone add complexity to the long leesy finish.
