Seqouia Grove is one of those great small family-run wineries in the prime Cabernet area of Napa Valley that has managed to remain under the radar. One of the best Cabs we've tasted in this price range, its full of the big tannins and a healthy dose of American Oak that Silver Oak fans love. The grapes come from well-regarded vineyards in the Napa Valley and Seqouia Grove's own estate vineyards in Rutherford.

Tasting Notes: "The Seqouia Grove 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is deep garnet in color with aromas of sweet currants, dark chocolate, intense blackberry, clove, black pepper and a sprinkling of Rutherford dust. Full-bodied with firm, yet supple tannins and well-integrated acid."
