The beauty of making wine in California is the ability to blend grapes together in any way you like. Steve Ventrello takes 2 parts Cabernet and blends in 1 part each of Tempranilli. This delicious combination takes advantage of Cabernet's power and the earth and spice component of Tempranillo. The final product, the Parador 2003 Napa Valley, is a masterwork of complexity and balance. One of our favorite boutique discoveries!
