Searby Vineyard was planted in 1972 on the Goldridge sandy loam soils of the Russian River Valley. The floral aromatics that distinguish this wine are ever present in the 2005 vintage. Along with the Muscat and passion fruit flavors, there are hints of citrus on the palate, including tangerine and lemon zest. The wine’s naturally crisp acidity is quite refreshing with the opulent fruit and the palate is enhanced by rich, French oak, which melds with the fruit flavors to achieve a long, lingering finish.
