Very limited new release from Brian Loring, a small producer who has the midas touch with Pinot Noir in California. He sources from the best vineyards in the state and hand crafts some of the finest Pinot Noirs we've tasted. Extremely limited.
95 Points The Pinot Report: "Medium-deep ruby color; rich, spicy black cherry aromas with some smoky notes; lush, rich, ripe, black cherry falvors with spicy notes; some tannin and sweet oak add complexity; good structure and balance; long finish. Full and rich Pinot with terrific balance and immense flavor. Drink now or hold for a year or two."
91 Points Wine Spectator: "Tight, focused and medium-bodied, with ripe plum and black cherry fruit that's trim and minerally, ending with a pretty burst of dark berry fruit and fine-grained tannins. Drink now through 2014. 675 cases made."
