J. Davies 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% estate grown, produced, and bottled by Schramsbreg Vineyards. Two historic vineyards on the Diamond Mountain District property have been tested over a decade for their red wine potential. Winemaker Hugh Davies and Craig Roemer have been perfecting this vineyard for over 10 years and have produced an intensely fruity, beatifully balanced 2004 vintage. Only 1,000 cases produced

Rich, dense berry fruit jumps out of the glass. Reminiscent of blackberry, boysenberry and black cherry, these delicious fruitful aromas are lifted by hints of anise and clove characteristic of Napa's Diamond Mountain. Unfined and unfiltered, its palate is smooth, velvety and complete.
