Winemaker Charles Hendricks has long supplied grapes from the Lewelling Vineyard in Napa Valley to famous Napa Cabernets like Caymus and Viader. Hope & Grace is his new label from the same vineyards and a fantastic new Napa Cabernet to discover now while its still "uner the radar". Only 550 cases produced.
The Hope & Grace 2004 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has deep black fruit aromas ooze from the glass like tar from a barrel. Earthy, toffee, sage and sweet Marjoram swirl around the imposing core of black fruit. Mouth filling texture covers the entire palate, side to side, top to bottom, virtually staining the entire interior of the mouth, leaving a satisfying lingering finish. This wine will continue to develop over the next 10 to 15 years.
