Heidi Barrett is well-known as the winemaker for Screaming Eagle, but Paradigm is her secret sleeper from Oakville in Napa Valley. This brilliant Paradigm 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley is gorgeous now, but the patient may see it rival the wonderful 1999 Paradigm as this winery's best Cab ever.
Wine Spectator: "Notably complex and complete, with a mix of sweet, ripe currant, black cherry and plum accented by ample vanilla bean and mocha-scented oak. The tannins are firm, ripe and well-integrated, giving it an elegant mouthfeel. Best from 2007 through 2013. 4,000 cases made."
