The Etude 2010 Pinot Gris is made from grapes grown in two great vineyards:  the Estate vineyard in Carneros and the fabled Hudson Vineyard in Carneros. Both vineyards are planted with certified Alsatian clones and are farmed to Etude's exacting standards, using ecologically sound viticultural practices. The wine never touches a sliver of oak, nor does any portion undergo secondary fermentation. Etude's mission is to produce a distinctive, highly enjoyable style of Pinot Gris. It is an extrovert among the often bland wines made from this variety.

Etude's Pinot Gris exudes exotic, attention-grabbing fruit aromas including white peach, melon and subtle mineral notes. Unlike more delicate examples of Pinot Gris, Etude's rendition is a good companion for adventurous culinary explorations or just by itself.
