Textbook is a small-produciton Cabernet discovery from Paso Robles!  Beautiful Cab for a reasonable price - try it while its still available. A fantastic value.

The meticulous craftsmanship behind Textbook Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2021 is evident in its opulent, richly textured, and beautifully balanced profile. This wine is crafted from hand-selected lots, which undergo 13 months of aging in 100% French oak barrels, ensuring the highest quality and complexity. The addition of small amounts of Syrah and Petite Sirah, both of which flourish in the Paso Robles region, lends structure and depth to this remarkable Cabernet Sauvignon.

On the nose, there are lovely aromas of Satsuma plum, red currant, anise, and a dusting of baking spices from the French oak aging. On the palate, I get the flavors of juicy black cherry, raspberry, and milk chocolate. The finish is smooth with well-integrated tannins. It’s opulent, richly textured, and beautifully balanced.
