Chateau Montelena is one of California's historic wineries and consistent producers of some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in Napa Valley. A great Cabenet from the heralded 2008 vintage.
90 Points Rober Parker: "The winery continues to turn out a strong Cabernet Sauvignon from vineyards in the Calistoga area. the Cabernet Sauvignon Napa reveals a darker ruby/purple hue along with attractive notes of roasted herbs, bay leaf, cassis, and black cherries, medium body, and silky tannins. The more complex aromatics set it apart from the 2006."
