New limited Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir from the famed Brewer-Clifton team.

92 Points Robert Parker:  "The 2009 Pinot Noir is a highly expressive wine. Sweet red fruit, herbs, licorice, dried flowers and mint are some of the notes that emerge from this mid-weight Pinot. The 100% stems come through in the wine’s aromatic profile and high-toned finish. This is a terrific introduction to the house style and a fabulous effort at this level. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2020...No one has done more to carry the banner for the Santa Rita Hills than Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton. Both together at Brewer-Clifton and separately in their other projects, Brewer and Clifton consistently deliver delicious wines that are also deeply thought provoking with regards to the potential these vineyard sites hold. The Pinots in particular are compelling."

Brewer-Clifton is a collaborative project uniting winemakers Steve Clifton (Palmina, Tritono) and Greg Brewer (Diatom, Melville) designed to showcase the terroir of Santa Barbara County. This young, dynamic duo makes delicious wines, and their 2009 vintage is superlative.

Brewer-Clifton Vineyards

Born of an obsession with Santa Barbara County terroir, Greg Brewer and Steve Clifton formed Brewer - Clifton in the early 1990’s. From our initial production of 1996, the Brewer-Clifton Winery pursuit has been to express the individual identity of particular sites within our appellation. They set out to put the essence of the best vineyards in the area into a bottle.
