Bella 2008 Big River Ranch Zinfandel, Alexander Valley

Bella Vineyards makes one of the best and most popular Zinfandels in California. Usually only available at select restaurants and the winery, we're excited to have some of the current release. Very limited production.

Located on a gently sloping hillside beside the Russian River, the backbone of this zinfandel is 14 acres of 110 year-old vines. It boasts deep red soil and hot summer days and the coastal cooling effect and morning fog of the nearby Russian River Valley allow for longer ripening times.  This Zin is a blockbuster! With its wonderfully dark hue and intoxicating bouquet of ripe, red fruit, this wine rewards the palate with a combination of dark berry and spice, followed by a silky finish. Can be cellared 8-10 years if you can last that long.
